Francois De Roubaix-Les Levres Rouges OST-Barclay-1971 My Rip @320K

  I Guarantee anyone that bought this 45 holds it as one of their most cherished records!  No one found this thing in the dollar bin, if you have it, it cause you really wanted it and were willing to do anything for it.  Ever since I heard this, I was on a mission.  Not only is it the best Francois De Roubaix record but it's for a very beautiful Lesbian Vampire Movie, WHAT!!!!  I've heard these songs so many times that I'm too used to them, but when I think back to my first experiences with them, I just remember absolute goosebumps.  Francois De Roubaix is just a soundtrack genius, right up there with Cosma, Vannier.  He is just as gnarly as he is soft and sweet and there are 2 very different periods for his greatness, the acoustic instrument period and then the later electronic period.  I greatly prefer the electronic period except for this record.  I don't think I've ever heard someone try so many things in the course of 2 songs, it's like a mini concept album.  I've taken the luxury of seperating "Les Dunes Ostende" into 5 parts mostly so you can get straight to the dope ass beat at the end of the song.  I've also included the songs in their complete form as well.  One of the reasons I know there's not a GOD is because he wouldn't of allowed such a musical astronaut such as Roubaix to die so young.  I hope you enjoy my rip @320K of course.  Thanks Chris Tillotson       GET IT HERE!

SST(Tim Krog)-The Boogey Man Soundtrack- 1980 Essential Synth Horror

  Essential Private Press Horror soundtrack by Synth Sound Trax Corp.  I always saw this credited to Tim Krog but the back has 3 people credited, Tim Krog, Jan Bartlett & Ed Christiano.  I just recently watched this movie and it wasn't about a boogey man, at least not how I think of a boogey man, but more a weird paranormal possession movie involving mirrors as the medium.  The soundtrack to me outshines the movie with the second version of the title track just killing it.  There are so many great 80's horror synth themes but this one might be the best. It starts off strong with the john carpenter piano run but then goes where I wish all John Carpenter stuff went (Melodic and Pop) haha.  Then to truly destroy, it does a bad ass backwards synth part that you can tell they just flipped by experiment.  I haven't heard anything else by SST but if it's half as good as this I can't wait.  This is hand numbered 348 out of 1000 and I've seen this thing sell for hundreds of dollars and some people actually try to get over a grand for it,hahaha but if you wait it out, you can score it for a decent price.  A true cult OST, enjoy from my personal collection ripped @320K. Stelvio Cipriani "Piranha 2-Les Treurs Volantes" OST General Music 1982 RIP @320K

   Here is Stelvio Cipriani's excellent score to the 1982 Horror film sequel to Piranha.  This forgotten film was directed by, of all people, James Cameron (Aliens,Terminator,The Abyss).  In this film the scientifically altered piranhas can now fly and get ya through your window or whatever supposed safe place your chillin.  The real massacre happens when all the tourists are awaiting the yearly Spawning on the beach only to be slaughtered by a militia of flying piranhas.  Ridiculous fun this movie is but the soundtrack is very dramatic and beautiful.  The best composition is repeated here 3 times in, "Profondo Sinfonico","Profondo", & "Theme From Piranha 2".  But I do also enjoy the beauty of "Escape To Paradise".  This version was released in France specially for a Science Fiction Festival in Paris and is very rare and hard to grab.  So enjoy this gem from one of the Italian greats and check out the film on youtube, it features an early performance from horror legend, Lance Henriksen.     Thanks,Chris Tillotson        GET IT HERE!

La Casa Di Omicidio "Self Titled" 2014 "Italian Horror Soundtrack inspired Group"

  So I was sent a promo email to check out this new release of a long lost 1979 Italian Horror movie entitled, "La Casa Di Omicidio" released by Active Listener Records.  When I finally got around to listening to it, 2 things were very apparent, No this was not recorded in 1979 and damn this shit is dope, haha.  All the songs are by Jeff Rose & Noah Poole with help from Sean Campbell & Amarin Enyart and it seems to be a one off recording project.  They list their influences as Goblin, John Carpenter and King Crimson.  I do hear some of that as far as the electronics go but where as Goblin & Crimson have shredding prog drumming, this drumming is very stoned and vibey.  Because of that, it reminds me more of another horror soundtrack, "Le Frisson Des Vampires" By the teenage group Acanthus, which I absolutely love.  My 2 fav tracks are "Osse di Diavolo (En, Relic)" with its ridiculously awesome chorus synth sound followed by stoned out horror disco.  Also "L'Omicidio Euphorbia Milli (En, Cactus Murder)" simply because it has a guitar solo at the end and I absolutely love hearing people shred and this one's got a bunch of feeling! Bottom line is this band is worth your time and I wish more bands were doing this cause I might actually go out and see shows again, haha.  Currently this release is only available in digital format and you can buy it here http://lacasadiomicidio.com/.  So show your support and buy it!

Luciano Michelini "L'Isola Degli Uomini Pesce" OST-1979-Cometa CMT 1009 21

    Wow, just look at this amazing cover art, so dope!  When I first saw this record I was dying to hear it and when I found out it was also released in the USA under the title Screamers, for very cheap prices, I jumped on it.  Now what I didn't realize is that the records do not contain the same songs.  True some of the songs are the same but the Screamers release is missing 2 very standout tracks, "Rito Magico" & "Palude".  So this being the original Italian release on Cometa with only 500 copies ever pressed, far exceeds that of the readily available US release.  Most of the jams are beautiful orchestral adventure type songs, except for the 2 previously mentioned.  Rito Magico, is tribal psych out bliss and Palude sounds like Morricone & Alessandroni jamming with Can!  This record is getting harder and harder to find so don't sleep if you find it or maybe the mighty Death Waltz will step up and reissue it cause it seems right up there alley.  Hope you dig and enjoy my rip @320K from my personal collection.  Thanks, Chris Tillotson                 GET IT HERE!

Caravelli "April Orchestra Vol.16" 1977 320K Happy Halloween!

I'm currently on vacation in New Orleans for Halloween and I thought I would take a break to share some Halloween treats for y'all.  Hear is one of my favourite library records, and I think it's the best horror movie soundtrack that never was.  This is as evil sounding as strings, bass and drums can get, so amazing.  Most of you library collectors already know this classic, but for everyone else, get this now.  I like this just as much as any Goblin Or Frizzi soundtrack, maybe more!  From my personal collection, Enjoy@320K Chris Tillotson  GET IT HERE!

Franco Micalizzi "Stridulum" 1979 Italian Soundtrack Holy Grail Vinyl Rip 320K

This is my favourite Micalizzi record, so heavy,so funky and just so good.  As i was ripping this last night, i was just head banging the entire time, haha.  This horror movie was also known as "The Visitor" and IMDB describes the movie as, "The story of a young girl with telekinetic powers becomes the prize in a fight between forces of God and the Devil." My favourite jam is, "Sadness Theme Second Part," with its smooth jazz guitar melody.  Any description with smooth jazz in it and I would be turned off too, but I seriously can't get enough of it, I even think my band, Starving Daughters will try to cover that song at some point.  "Running Away From Jerzy" is another standout, instantly kicking ass with its scaling strings,space out efx,and ripping drums.  So, get boozed, jam the soundclips and download this rare, holy grail record, from my personal collection.  Get It Here!
