Bob Callaghan & Co "Il Gabbiano Infelice" SM 3426 Joker- Italy 1972 Moog!

Having to drop hella cash on overly expensive rare records is usually a necessity if you want to hear the good stuff but it is nice when you can pick up gems like this for pretty much dollar bin prices.  I just love all these moog exploitation records.  This one is by Bob Callaghan & Co doing covers of popular songs of the time and a couple Alberto Baldan Bembo jams off his great Arp Synthesizer Record.  "Noi Due Nel Mondo E Nell'Anima" is such an amazing jam, oh my god those chord changes!  It was originally done by Italian band "Pooh"hahaa and pooh my pants I almost did when I heard it.  There also a dope cover of Kingsley's "Popcorn" and the beautiful Bembo songs, "Penny" & "My Intermezzo"  All in all very solid listen all the way through, how can you not enjoy this kind of shit!  Enjoy from my personal collection ripped @320K.
Thanks,Chris Tillotson         GET IT HERE!

    1. Awesome, yeah I got a couple more Jokers that I posted a while back that are super rad, just look in the Alberto Baldan Bembo section.

  4. I’ve just pulled out this record from my crates like 3 or 4 days ago (got it since a while but never took the time to hear it). Actually, this LP is not trippy as a mort garson, gershon kinglsley or mike melvon when it comes to the moog composition or covers. I suggest you to take a listen to this record http://www.discogs.com/Claude-Denjean-And-Synthesizer-Open-Circuit/release/1884807
Still affordable ! with some cool covers (al green, morricone, nino rota) and upfront drums...peace.
